Review on Enhanced SEO: Joe Rocket Superstreet Boots for Men by Nate Skinner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Initial rating good for protective gear

I chose these Joe Rocket boots after looking at many different brands. Received it today, so that's my first impression after trying it on, but I haven't worn it on a trip yet.1. Quality is what I expect from a brand like JR for the price paid. The hardware holding the guards (toe sliders etc.) is a bit questionable but worth the price. These are not higher level racing boots.2. I have Barney Rubble feet and I usually wear very roomy New Balance 10.5s. I ordered 11 hoping they would be wide enough. Fortunately, to my surprise, they are almost perfect for me. Not too tight with typical sports socks. Getting on and off was the worst as the ankle area is stiff when my wide foot goes through. As mentioned in other reviews, the zip is a bit difficult to close, but the snug fit of the inner liner on the foot helps. I also put some candle wax on the zipper for "dry lubrication" and it helps it slide a little smoother (rubbed like chalk). If my opinion changes after running them on a few rides I will update this review. I'm still satisfied! They fit well and are now much easier to put on and take off and zip and open. White gets dirty, but that doesn't bother me at all. And they're definitely not meant to be walked any significant distance, but again I agree, I have no intention of walking in them. Overall my 5 star rating is still where I stand.
