I ordered them expecting them to be new. I .

I ordered them and expected them to be new. I open the box and find that they have been used. They are frayed and a piece or two are missing.

Great boots

Great design, protection and a comfortable fit. I usually wear a size 9 but an 8 (currently) or 8.5 fits me and they are not too tight or have any pressure points. Now that I wear slip on shoes I will never go there again. Best of all, you can't beat the price for what it's worth! Recommended seller and shoes.

Good boots for the price

These great value boots look great and offer ample protection. They don't seem to have very good thermal insulation, but my feet don't get cold even at 40 degrees. Be very careful with the zipper as it can easily get stuck. I gave 3 stars because the interior lacks padding. Luckily I bought a size larger than usual and was able to fit a cheap midsole pad. Much more convenient now.

Pros
  • Easy to slip on
Cons
  • A few little things

You get what you pay for.

I bought a pair of these shoes a year ago and have worn them several times. Structurally, these boots offer adequate protection for sporty driving; However, after wearing them 3 or 4 times, the zipper on the bottom of the left boot came loose and now won't close fully when I put them on. I still use them for riding occasionally, but will likely purchase higher quality boots. I was attracted by the lower price but it's worth buying higher quality boots if you want them to last.

Can't beat the money

Found a used pair my size on the Revain marketplace for a great price. Basically new. no signs of wear with original box/packaging and tag. The nicest and most comfortable sport bike booties I've found in the under $100 range. Can be a bit tricky to put on due to padding at ankle and narrow opening. but fit well once in them. Not very good cushioning. but sportbike boots are not comfortable. I wear men's shoes 10.5 and 11 in these works well.

Great for road trips

I currently drive a 2018 MT 09, I will not wear leather to drive on Sundays. These boots look great with jeans and your choice of jacket. The leather feels very durable and the skid plates are well placed. They aren't too heavy. Maybe a bit hot (I drive in 85-95 degrees). I have two complaints about these boots: 1. The zippers don't slip when opening and closing. (Repaired with wax from the chalk!) 2. The shift pad is very large and presses on the top of the foot when walking. Perhaps the skin…

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Waste of money, I demand a refund!

Boots look ok, 2 sizes too big. The zipper is tricky. But the biggest problem I have is why is the soul so thin? After a day of driving 200 miles my leg hurts so much. He's got bruises on the bottom from the running boards digging into them. I don't understand how it happens. Paper-thin sole with no arch support. I used my plastic orthotics but the forefoot really lacked support and got hit. How is that supposed to protect me in an accident? There is no comfort at all and no value for money…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No

I'm writing this review after a week of ownership. The boots seem to be a good deal so far. There's armor where you need it, padding on the left foot (and same as the right one for looks I guess?) and metal on the outside of the toes for when you really bend over and end up scratching your foot . Expensive boot. The sides of the boots may have steel or plastic bars to prevent twisting of the ankle in an accident. This would be the only improvement I'd like to make to these boots in terms of…

Pros
  • nice piece
Cons
  • lots of stuff

Initial rating good for protective gear

I chose these Joe Rocket boots after looking at many different brands. Received it today, so that's my first impression after trying it on, but I haven't worn it on a trip yet.1. Quality is what I expect from a brand like JR for the price paid. The hardware holding the guards (toe sliders etc.) is a bit questionable but worth the price. These are not higher level racing boots.2. I have Barney Rubble feet and I usually wear very roomy New Balance 10.5s. I ordered 11 hoping they would be wide…
