I'm not sure what to say about a filter that helps others; it fits, and the fact that it's an OEM filter adds to its usefulness. I have a 1999 YZF600 with over 36,000 miles on it, and the last place you want to go cheap is in the filters. that is, if you want your machine to last a while. This is the longest bike I've owned without going over 100,000 miles and I've always changed the oil and filter every 4,000 miles and the air filter every 20-25,000 miles. I once owned a 1992 Honda VFR750 which I rode over 147,000 miles without repair before I sold the bike.
