Ordering an OEM Yamaha Oil Filter was very quick and easy. The filter arrived on the promised day. Price and quality matter.

Title and box say GH-13440-50-00, Amazon picture GH-13440-40-00, Real part GH-13440-60-00. Very annoying that the specs don't match the actual part.

This is a genuine part that is an exact replacement for the genuine Yamaha Bolt part. It fits my 2014 and the motor design hasn't changed since it was introduced so it should fit all years. Some non-original ones are larger (long?) and fit, but stick out a bit from the frame, which is normal - just look a bit odd. Good prices compared to the dealer and fast shipping.

I'm not sure what to say about a filter that helps others; it fits, and the fact that it's an OEM filter adds to its usefulness. I have a 1999 YZF600 with over 36,000 miles on it, and the last place you want to go cheap is in the filters. that is, if you want your machine to last a while. This is the longest bike I've owned without going over 100,000 miles and I've always changed the oil and filter every 4,000 miles and the air filter every 20-25,000 miles.
