Poor design, I replaced my traditional French press with an OXO hoping it would be easier to clean with the bottom paddle mechanism. It's easier to clean, but that's about it. Made coffee twice and both times TONS of grounds ended up in my coffee AND I had to constantly clean the pour strainer so I could pour the coffee into my cup. Terrible. I will go back to the original French press I had before and I am happy with the fact that it is more difficult to clean without grinding for better quality coffee. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
