I just used this to add 12 oz. Can of R134A Freon for my sons Honda CRV 2004. I checked the pressure on the high and low pressure connections of the air conditioning and found that the system was fortunately a little low on refrigerant. Back then I added some freon and then cranked the engine up to 2500 rpm to check the high pressure readings. I ended up taking all 12 ounces. can really push. The correct way would be to pump out the system and then add the required amount, but that would be very expensive at the price we're quoted, so best. I didn't want to use these refrigerants with a pressure gauge on the low side. Using that gauge on the manifold gives you a complete picture of what's going on and it doesn't really cost that much more than buying those canisters with gauges, the center vent was 76F before adding refrigerant and is now 41F with an outside temperature of 89F at 68% humidity. This boost gauge worked flawlessly as expected and was very easy to use ---- Highly recommend!
