Never point it towards you-be cautious
I bought this for my 8 quart Ninja Foodi pressure cooker. When cooking on my counter, the Foodi steam release goes directly onto my cabinets. This device sends it in another direction. It works great, but NEVER have it pointed towards you or anyone else, as it will scald skin. Also, when you release the steam, do it with your hand behind the steam exit to prevent burns. But, it works as intended, keeps your cabinets unharmed.

- It may not be worth the extra investment if you don’t use your Instant Pot frequently
