This was a supplement kit for my carving/sculpting tools. With proper care, they should hold up well. Just don't try to use any kind of saw directly in the pumpkin. First make a small hole and then insert the blade. After my grandkids learned this trick, we have a lot fewer bent and broken blades! And I feel much more comfortable with these saws than with a regular knife. More control and no cuts! However, this kit is missing our favorite sculpting tool that we use to remove pumpkin skins! I wish I knew what it's called.
