Before moving I charged the batteries and tested the headset on my computer and the sound was good and I put it in the box. Now I've plugged in the headset and while it works fine with the 3.5mm cable, the digital optical cable doesn't work with the transmitter or TV. Headphones can be used, but the sound on the TV is muted, so the aim fails. I was hoping both kits would work but they don't and the volume control isn't very loud to me and I need something louder. The headphones work well and are comfortable, the sound is ok. I have a volume bind and it's basically "normal" sound to me. I will say the headphones work but they are not good enough for what I wanted or needed.
