Not working in my application

The male end of the cable was very loose, possibly the wrong size. Connect both ends of this cable together and feel that they are different sizes. at the ends of the camera, for example, small 4- or 5-pin plugs. I know ! I installed the backup camera and ran 18 feet of wire. Only to find out I was 2ft shorter and figured I could just use this cable on the mirror/monitor end and not have to redo the whole cable. NO! The reason only one is listed is that it's not the right way to get the job done. Get the camera end.
