This is a very well made product and we have used it several times. My only complaint is that the rubbing surface is small, so I have to adapt my rubbing method to short strokes. This isn't a problem with some dishes, but it does make grating a large piece of parmesan a bit difficult. Very good for grating shallots, garlic, nutmeg, etc. Stainless steel construction and thick frame wire ensure durability.
