Nice stand. Very solid construction and feel. Rubber grommets on the sides for grip and anti-vibration. The ventilation is excellent. The telescopic arm gives a little extra height. I use a dock with my work laptop and share a monitor with my home station (yes I know I need kvm :] my last one broke and I haven't replaced it yet). This stand works really well to turn it into a dual screen. I use a separate keyboard and mouse so I didn't spend much time typing directly on this stand, but the tabs on the bottom holding the laptop down make it uncomfortable as some others have mentioned. I don't think it's really meant for that, and I don't plan on using it for that, but if that's what you're looking for, a 1cm spacer (or a strategically placed ballpoint pen) can fix it fairly easily. as shown in the picture.
