I bought these mica's to have more variety to create custom colours. They mix well with epoxy. They have a great pearly finish. And the variety is nice. I really wish mica companies would put more emphasis on bold rainbow colors. It's almost impossible to get a set of Glimmers with the true colors of the rainbow...especially red and green, which unfortunately aren't included in this set. Neither these nor Seisso offer true red. The orange in this set (tangerine I think) is a bright orange but lighter. I love the yellow color in this set. Green is another color absent from both sets. It has sage green and light green colors. The blues are always great in any set and they have variety. Purple is all right. This is a good starter or test kit. However, you need to expand it to get the full range of colors. I recommend. I probably wouldn't buy the whole set.
