Review on 🩳 Just My Size Plus-Size Stretch Jersey Bike Shorts for Women by Mark Jefferson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm so glad I found these shorts!

I've been looking and looking for mostly cotton shorts like these for ages. At first I thought they were too thick (they're not typical leggings or cycling shorts material, they're a bit thicker, almost like a cross between typical leggings material and super skinny sweatpants). As soon as I put them on, I appreciated their thicker fabric. I was in dire need of something to wear under my skirts and dresses to avoid the dreaded "swollen lip chafing" and they do the job perfectly. I've bought literally dozens of pairs because they instantly became an essential part of my wardrobe. With them I can be much more active. In fact, they're affordable enough to buy multiple pairs without spending as much money as good underwear usually costs. Revain only allows a maximum of 7 people per customer so I just went to the Just My Size website and bought more. I wear them around the house, to bed, and basically what I call my modern bloomers. I wear them like underwear! They are very comfortable, hold their shape (they do stretch a little which seems normal with wear but just wash and dry them and they spring back to their size in an instant), they are well made and don't chafe. do not sneak up, drive up, or crouch. However, I would never wear them in public without a dress or skirt. IMHO, not very shorts. They're really big so you can really, really honestly buy a size smaller than what you normally wear and they should fit perfectly. They rise very high, just above my waist, but I like the way they fit and feel. I feel protected, comfortable and closed in it, but not restricted at all. They're just a little bulky under skirts and dresses, but not noticeable enough under clothing or to keep me from wearing them. I washed and dried them hot and they didn't shrink. 10% spandex helps them keep their shape. I have black but read reviews that heather gray has a higher percentage of spandex. The black color is more like a charcoal, a little faded, than true black. I wouldn't call them cycling shorts, but whatever they are, they're great. I just hope they don't get hired!
