Let me tell you the truth. I threw a 30 amp power cord under the RV to pull it out the other side. I heard a sharp noise and the plug fell into pieces. My local hardware store had the exact same plug, but now I was less confident that I could rely on that plug as the sole AC power source for my setup. It looks like this fork is less likely to die the same death, at least just because it's yellow. instead of black and rounder. Of course it's not waterproof. Of course it is not easy to install. We are working with large wires that can carry large currents here! And who knows, maybe a handle on the back makes it easier to connect, especially when it's really cold and I'm wearing ski gloves or something. Either way I think it's a good choice and next time I can throw the cable under the camper with more confidence.?!
