I can only recommend this product as a novelty or as a joke. I'm a professional artist and I hardly expected them to be of a professional level. But they were hardly a student class anymore. And the way the pallets fan out takes up too much space and is difficult to control, let alone closing them while wet creates a mess of its own. Most of the colors were moderately light but dried out with a chalky tint very characteristic of poor quality school paints. I would say they would be a fun gift for kids but there is nothing that verifies that these paints are non-toxic. All documents are in Chinese, therefore, if you don't speak that language, you can't talk about the pigment. While the paint shell looks generous, it's only paper thin and likely causes less pain than a standard half shell. I bought all three sets and they all had the same issues. I strongly recommend investing elsewhere. I chose all the colors, namely the colored squares in the photo that accompanies this review.
