Review on 🔧 Meguiar's G190200 Quik Scratch Eraser Kit" - Enhanced Formula for Effective Scratch Removal by Tom Tofte

Just two weeks before I was due to sell it, I found a 12" scuff/scratch on the lower rear of my black rental Mercedes. When the panic subsided I ordered this kit hoping it would solve my little problem. The abrasion appeared to be limited to the clear layer but was definitely visible. After carefully applying Meguiar's Compound in a few light strokes, both by hand and with a foam applicator, the scuffs were reduced by probably 80% and you really should have been looking for it. Being picky about my machines I probably did 2 or 3 more runs over the following days which made it even better. Nothing was said during my pre-check and the game paid off. In hindsight I think this mix could have been a more abrasive mix, somewhere between a polishing paste and a rubbing paste. It didn't seem to work as well as I had hoped, but it still got me out of my predicament. Yes, I would recommend it if you have a light scuff, scuff or scratch, but I wouldn't use it for anything more than that.
