I've been making stained glass for 20 years. This is the BEST and fastest product ever. I keep it handy in gallons. It's best to use every time you stop work during the day - just spray on, scrub quickly with your toothbrush and wipe away. You don't have to use a brush, but it does help loosen and remove the little bits of solder that are everywhere. Once your project has patinated this is a great before and after cleaner. You won't oxidize as much as with soap and water as with minerals which start to oxidize immediately. You always want to finish your project with a good stained glass wax to protect metals from oxidation and leave a shiny finish. Parts treated with glass wax can simply be wiped clean with a dry cloth to keep them looking shiny and good.
