I have a large beagle and he figured out all the gates I bought. This one bolts to the wall and the latch on the catwalk is different. I hope he can't find out. although, as I jokingly told my son, I know he saw where I put the power driver. He lies and pretends not to try, instead going around the corner and grabbing him with his paw, wrapping himself around him, shaking and pulling. I peeked around the corner and caught him. If I go in, he'll lie down and pretend he's innocent. When he runs the house, he thinks the beds are his and refuses to leave. He has two accomplices who also like to run but can't get into bed. They won't use the potty on the floor if they are limited to 3 rooms in the house, but as they walk around the house, one of the little dogs will forget that you shouldn't use the potty on the floor. So far, so good.
