Benefits: Squeezes to pour liquids without spilling, withstands heat, cleans up after liquids easily. Cons: The 1 mark on the mug is actually 9 ounces of liquid instead of 8. I wanted it to carry boiled water from the kitchen to the bathroom, but it gets too hot to handle. It's pretty flexible, not the kind of mug you can confidently carry around. Unlike glass tumblers, fine dry ingredients stick to the cup. I also have the OXO silicone set which is perfect. But I wanted a differentiated cup. Not sure what I'm going to use.
