I got this late last year and it has quickly become a part of my life. I'm subconsciously addicted to it and use it so much I forgot to check it out. I use it to transfer large amounts of data back and forth between my micro USB Android tablet and my desktop PC via a USB stick. Wi-Fi is too slow for large files and connecting the tablet directly to a PC is too cumbersome. Instead, I work on my PC all day, and when I create or stumble across a file on my tablet, I copy it to a USB stick and move on. At the end of the day, I take my USB drive to my tablet, grab an OTG adapter, and quickly β without waiting β transfer files to my tablet. worked perfectly. I haven't tried it on a USB-C port yet. I hope to someday be able to connect a USB keyboard to a tablet with an adapter. Yes, the adapter + USB dongle is a chunky but temporary addition to your tablet or phone, but anything you plug into your tablet or phone stands out. I don't understand what the problem is with devices with caps, but can a micro USB extender offer a "thinner" or "deeper" connector profile, similar to that of a power cord?
