Mixed reviews here. My experience is not very good. For reference I have: 2 QNIX2710LED 1440p monitors with single DVI-D connector (each) 2 cable values DVI-DVI cables with ferrites (DVI Dual Link Cables/DVI D Cables) 10ft; I bought a 2014GTX 960 graphics card (2 DVI-D, 1 DP, 1 HDMI). I'm hoping to upgrade my graphics card soon so I bought this adapter to test the DisplayPort connectivity as all new cards use it. The resulting image was unusable - static across most of the screen and a few horizontal lines ruining the image. DVI-D cable technology hasn't changed much. The ones I have are very good, proven quality. These aren't cables. It's definitely not a monitor. I'm not ruling out a DisplayPort connector on the graphics card, but that's unlikely. This leaves this adapter a likely point of failure. Some people have successfully used this adapter at resolutions > 1080p; some not. I guess it's luck. I do not recommend this adapter and will no longer risk money to troubleshoot. Looks like there will be new monitors in the future when I update the video.
