Bad circuit tester

This tool could be perfect. But instead it's useless. The biggest problem is that he CAN'T GIVE ANY REASON to activate the component. It just says 'This feature will be updated' so I think they will add it with a firmware update...one day...maybe. And even if they do release a firmware update, good luck finding it and installing it on your instrument. The manual does not provide any instructions on how to update the firmware other than... Connect your computer to your computer and use the software to update the firmware. No indication of where to get a firmware or software update. So, in my opinion, this means that this tool can never use ground to activate components, making it completely pointless. (I was able to find a website that distributes updates with my own search. It's in Chinese. After translating, I found the updates and tried them. There's still no terrestrial app...but maybe in a FUTURE update/c) Another problem The only one I see is that it doesn't show a + or - chain on the activation screen, so you have to choose between activation screens or +-. You also cannot see the voltage at the probe tip unless you are on the screen of a voltmeter. Both features should be available on the activation screen, like Power Probe. That's all you need to see, as you activate components and keep moving and switching through menus, it really sucks. I also don't like how big it is. The size was difficult to tell from the pictures. This thing is huge and doesn't work well under the hood let alone on the dash. PATH is too big for anything other than the bet on the table. And the final complaint is the wires. The main cable is good and long, but it is VERY stiff and causes snagging and is just awkward to use. The stupid USB dongle should have just been a port on the instrument, not dangling from it. It's in the way all the time, and when the tool is already too big to be useful, it only makes things worse. And finally, why, why, why, WHY?!? Does the plug for the battery terminals have to be that big!?! There is absolutely no reason to use this type of fork. It's big and just in the way and looks like it's designed for 4 wires but only 2 are used here. There's also no cigarette lighter adapter plug or extension cord, so that huge plug wasn't necessary anyway.
