Doesn't stay on my long, wavy hair very well. I had to use clamps to hold them in place. Because of the velcro, the ends ended up curling and didn't have much bounce or waviness. When I blow dry my hair, I prefer to use a round brush. I only used the largest size to get a big beachy wave like a natural curl. Velcro curl is not so good for holding lots of hair. Therefore, it is necessary to divide my hair into a very small part in order to curl it. The hair clip is flimsy, just use it to hold my baby hair on my forehead to keep it in place so the curls don't stay up.
