Review on Shepherd Hardware 8721E Hidden Casters by Michael Walker

I work in theater and bought these to use on a small set that required an unobtrusive movement. The product description says they are rated to carry 110lbs per unit, but I used 6 of these with a unit that weighed about 120lbs and they all fell apart. The thin plastic on the wheels warped and bent, the metal axle bent, the wheels detached from the ends. In general, a complete failure. I distributed the weight evenly and my block was almost 6 times lighter than it should have been. Very disappointed but they are very cheap so I wasn't expecting much. The pro-level equivalent costs over $30 per roll, so I wanted to at least try it (8 for $12 is tempting). Unfortunately, they all end up in the trash.
