They put these stupid rules on products (even from China) to prevent the production of items that don't meet BASIC health and safety standards. There is no UL marking here. I would trust duct tape when using this controversial product remotely. The scary thing is that there are thousands of reviews about how good this product is. People use this in their house for dangerous electrical appliances and grandma sleeps in the next room. Bad news and shame on Revain for allowing something like this to enter the western market.-M
