The sticks came in a sealed plastic bag as well as a black sleeve which I initially thought I would need to find. It's nylon, so I plan to protect it from the sun in our screen room. Haven't used the sticks yet but they seem strong enough. The black body on the right are the sticks. I have to try a little to remove the sticker. They are hanging alongside some other fire sticks I found at the store and you can see how much longer they are!
