I am entitled to my opinion and truthful review soooo. I had to throw these treats straight into the garbage can. Why? Because this company irradiates all of their products. What is irradiation? It's a process that used high amounts of radiation with as much as 15 million times the energy of a single chest X-ray to kill off any bacteria BUT it also kills all living tissue, enzymes, amino acids etc. So what is the end product to me? A radiated piece of (I'm not even sure?). I am not sure what the end product really is if it is destroying off all the good stuff in it (vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, collagen etc) Think of how much harder it will be for our dogs to digest it without enzymes present. I encourage you all to do your research on "Irradiation" and decide for yourself if you want to take the risk. I find it hard to believe a company I've been purchasing from for YEARS would advertise SO many good things to make you feel like the truly is a 1 ingredient treat just to find out the end product "CAN" contain radiation. If radiation is present I'd say that's an extra ingredient. I've read over a dozen articles and we just don't have enough test/studies to confirm that there is no radiation left in the product. BUT even if it was not in the end products the living tissue, vitamins, minerals etc would still be missing from them being destroyed. Why go through so much trouble to advertise a healthy treat and then ruin it? Also, this should be advertised on the front of the treat bag (and on this listing) so people have a choice to what they are purchasing. We want to know what's in the products and the processing if it's not natural. Hiding it only shows that you are not a transparent company. I am really hurt and so disappointed that I seek out more expensive natural products and this is the end result. The worst feeling of all is that I fed these to my dog and who knows what it's done to her health. Just something to think about everyone. Maybe the company will reconsider what they are doing and do some more of their research.
