Ironically, I got it as a second monitor for my music production system. I have a larger main monitor, but I needed a standard 1080P monitor to play the video I'm writing score 2 on. Also for the mixer in my music software and other things. With a high refresh rate and an amazing 10-bit panel, this monitor is nothing short of amazing and the size is perfect for the 1920 x 1080 resolution videos that you might need. This would be a great primary monitor if I didn't already have a larger one. Response time is incredibly good so gamers will love it and it's great for playing videos and syncing to the music I make.
