Review on πŸ’ Revlon Salon Smooth & Shine Hair Styler: Achieve Flawless and Lustrous Hair! by Kevin Miller

Too slow and cumbersome.

I have mixed feelings about this Revlon Salon Smooth & Shine Hair Styler. My hair is fairly short, 2 to 4 inches depending on the area of my head. He's also a bit thin. I can usually dry my hair in less than 2 minutes with a regular blow dryer and use a round brush with my other hand to give it volume and some shape. After that, I finish it off with a curling iron. I towel dried my hair this morning, applied some mousse and got to work with this hair styler. It took about 5 minutes to dry my hair compared to the usual 2 minutes. I didn't use the steam function because I didn't want to moisturize already damp hair. At this point my hair still didn't look right and I had to use a curling iron to finish it off. Overall, the hair styling took twice as long. The hair styler is bulky and a bit heavy even without adding water. My hair is too short to brush, so I just slicked it back to add volume. Then I decided to try it with my 9 year old daughter. Her hair is a few inches below her shoulders and it's the fine texture that most natural blondes have. We wash her hair every morning and today was a day off. I usually spend about 2 minutes ironing through her hair to straighten it after sleeping. This tool worked much better on her hair, although I didn't use steam. It took me about 4 minutes to straighten her hair and twist the ends a bit after detangling the tangles with a regular brush. Condition. It would definitely take too long. I prefer to use a conventional hair dryer and then straighten my hair with a flat iron. I really think it would be a good tool for a young girl simply because you can't get burned. I'm putting it off until my 9 year old daughter shows interest in fixing her own hair.
