Better than the Magic Keyboard, still bad

Let me get straight to the point and list the pros and cons Why it's better than the Apple Magic Keyboard: - Dedicated function/volume keys - Better edge protection - Big trackpad - Improved viewing angles - Better for a pencil. Caveat: still not that strong for a pencil, it wobbles with use. Detachable keyboard that can be flipped on the back of the iPad. Cheaper. Although the Magic Keyboard is now selling for $150 everywhere. Why is it worse - The keyboard is *slightly* worse (still great) - The trackpad is *slightly* worse (still great) - Immediately I got an error when I started using it right away. The trackpad didn't work and I had to fix it. This was a common problem, but nonetheless - unacceptable that this happened at all - the scrolling is weird. Sometimes if I stop scrolling it will continue for a while - Battery drains very quickly. I hate it - Much worse on my knees - One of the speaker holes is covered! This is because the magnetic connector must be present. So it's a trade-off that most people don't understand. Do I want that in principle? no The trackpad is somewhat incompatible. Sometimes when I stop scrolling, the trackpad keeps scrolling. Battery drain sucks - writing with a pencil sucks and I thought it would be better. The screen gets too shaky - No protection for the Apple Pencil that was present in the previous version. like what Why delete? It doesn't cost $210 (after taxes). Maybe like $150. I realized that I shouldn't try to replace the iPad with a laptop. It's just not the same.

Pros
  • Big selection
Cons
  • Not all fit
