This was a situation where I didn’t quite know what I was getting. My son wanted to go play paintball. He showed me what he wanted and I bought it. He is 15 and His friends told him to get a BDU. When they showed up I sent them off to play paintball and the chest area was so thin that it hurt him when he was shot. Apparently this is made more for a vest to be put over top that you can takeoff to be breathable Overall he likes the shirt but do get a vest also to protect the chest. This is not a rugged shirt all the way through. The arms are ragged but the chest is like a thin spandex type of material. Maybe stating the obvious for some people but it was not obvious to us.
