Good quality from North Face. Bought a size up for my son to give him a little more comfort and to wear a warm layer underneath when camping so he can wear it longer. He hasn't been able to wear it in the rain yet, but I'm sure it will work like any other jacket. I added that I chose this jacket because we were happy with other North Face products and the inner mesh lining that keeps the jacket material from sticking to his skin.
