I turned around and bought a second one. If this one ever wears out, I want to have it on hand!

After all the iPad upgrades, it was good to find a case for the original. My other bag (not of this brand) was made of beautiful leather. However, the cutouts were not large enough. That meant lots of clean cuts with the scissors, and over the years it became a mess anyway. Each durable plastic cutout is perfectly positioned (and sized) and the device snaps securely into place. I got it not long ago, but so far the valve that closes the screen is stronger than the original leather case. It should be cared for over time and not start to "unravel". However, it's a little slick if you're used to leather. You'll get used to it, but be careful not to slip your hands. The only downsides: Snap-in security pretty much means you don't have to remove your iPad from the case. I know the tablet is made to warm up, but if I had it for a long time I'd take it out of the old case for a while. It would be difficult to dissuade him. The leather case allowed me to fold the flap (to form a stand) and tilt the iPad to work with it (e.g. to write emails). With this plastic I have to put it somewhere - a cutlery coaster made of silicone works best - otherwise the coaster slips out from under the tray. One solution is to always fold the lid so that the iPad stands perfectly upright. It works, but it's hard to type when you do. It does, however, work well for reading, especially on a tablet on an airplane or other small space. Cutouts in the lid in the right place and large enough to accommodate (camera, speakers, headphone jack, etc.) are worth the minor inconveniences. .
