Although this system is quite cheap in the price range, it works very well. It is very easy to set up and in just a few clicks you have it set up on the main system. It's really easy to navigate. I've always had cameras on my property, and now in a new house, cameras should be there too. I have the 16 channel version with 8 cameras. It runs just the way I like it. I like that you can set up zones for each camera that triggers the recording function. Setting up an internet connection was a bit of a hassle as I had to get a Netgear switch to connect a Category 5 cable, but after that, after 10 minutes, I was surfing and getting notifications on my phone. If I end up needing more than the 8 cameras that come with it, I know I can always add more. My only complaint at the moment is that one camera was fogged up like there was something on the lens, but it's clean and the plastic lens cover was removed after installation. So far the picture has been good. There is no moisture in the chamber either, I checked. I'll wait and contact support later if necessary. Even if I had to replace the camera for the price paid I wouldn't be upset. If you're looking for a camera system, id has no hesitation in recommending this setup.
