Exactly what I was looking for! I would like to have a copy of some documents on a secure drive. Yes, you can use password/file cloud storage, but I like being able to store it on a physical drive. In this case, the encryption is built into the flash drive itself, so there is no need to update the software to use it. Just enter the password on the drive itself and connect. This is great because I also have a Chromebook and it works great. Please understand that you have 10 seconds to enter the password, after which the disc must be inserted within 30 seconds. No problem. It offers a nice option that allows you to set a timeout after which the drive will turn off. It is good if you keep it activated on your computer. Don't forget your password. After 10 attempts, your drive will be COMPLETELY erased, resulting in you losing all your data and having to reformat the drive. I love this drive.
