Review on 💻 A-Tech 16GB DDR4 2400MHz SODIMM Laptop RAM Upgrade Kit - Dual Rank, Non-ECC, 2Rx8, 260-Pin CL17, 1.2V by Michael Robinson

At the time of writing this (November 2020) it is difficult to find 8GB memory cards that are definitely Dual Rank. My usual supplier, Crucial, had a kit that was long out of production and I couldn't find anything else at a reasonable price. I had never used A-Tech before but decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. Both 8GB sticks were a matched pair and came with 4GB SK Hynix AFR chips. (4GB x 8 chips x 2 ranks x 2 sticks = 16GB). The memory installed with no issues and my AMD APU now enjoys all the benefits of dual rank and dual channel operation. Many thanks to A-Tech for keeping this very specific memory specification in production.
