We bought these headphones for my 9 year old son for Christmas and they have performed great over the past 10 days. He uses them to listen to videos on his iPad so he can be with us and we don't have to hear the audio of the video. I didn't notice any hissing in the headphones, so they hold the sound very well. Time will tell how durable these headphones prove and so far their performance has been very good.
