Two months ago I gave these dresses 5 stars but now I have I need to reconsider my rating. I didn't notice the chemical smell that other reviewers initially mentioned, but after wearing these dresses in my daughter's room for two months, you can smell it strongly every time you enter the room. We threw away all the clothes and the smell has dissipated a bit, but to some extent it's still there. We hope to find a solution that doesn't require laying new carpet. She was so lucky to have twenty new fashion barbie dresses and the price was too good to pass up. But if we could do it again, we'd happily buy some Barbie outfits on Etsy or Mattel, maybe triple for triple but it would be worth it, and then some more to keep our kids rooms. without that noxious and insidious chemical smell.
