Review on Autel MaxiTPMS TS501: Upgraded Automotive Scan Tool for TPMS Sensor Programming & Relearn with OBD Diagnostic Scanner by Jonathan Ulsth

This is a great TPMS tool for the money. This has worked well on many vehicles I've tried. The manufacturer is also quite responsive if you have a problem. I emailed the tech support staff in China several times and always got a response. Even if I didn't like what they told me. The software updates from Autel's website are a bit clunky, but they work, and it's good to know you can keep the tool up to date (but you pay for those updates after the first year). My biggest disappointment is that it doesn't read/write sensor IDs through the OBDII port on my 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage. After months of emails about this issue, Autel engineers finally confirmed that the ECU in the Mirage was preventing their tool from accessing stored sensor IDs. It's a little depressing because that machine was the main reason I bought the tool in the first place! But other than that it's such a useful tool, I'll leave it!
