Review on Bonavita E300 4151 Glass Coffee Carafe by Jason Unruh

I have an 8 cup Bonavita coffee maker. I broke 3 carafes in about 7 years. I've tried calling Bonavita directly in the past but it hasn't worked very well. I couldn't even get anyone to answer the phone, so I was glad to find that on Revain. There's only one problem. This carafe is so small (maybe 4 cups) that when I put the filter holder on it it's too far from the water shower to be sure the coffee grounds get wet, but I'm pretty sure my kitchen counter gets wet ! The description said it was 6.25 inches high, but the width from the handle to the opposite side was 6.25 inches. The height is actually 4.25 inches. The original Bonavita was at least 6 inches tall. Question for Bonavita - why not sell one of these?!
