The latest firmware for this display is 1003.1, said to be the equivalent of 1009.3 on the original, but there is STRONG flickering when using G-Sync in 100+ fps games like Minecraft and any eSports game. Sometimes the OSD crashes, preventing you from changing anything and displaying different resolutions incorrectly. This is fixed by unplugging the monitor from the wall and plugging it back in, but it happens VERY COMMONLY, especially with such an expensive monitor. Samsung knows it's the T1 Faker Edition of this monitor that has the issues that the regular G7 has. They even have firmware updates to fix these issues, but ONLY for the original G7, not the Faker Edition. This means that the monitor is literally inferior to the original G7. Samsung is fully capable of fixing these issues and there are many forum posts on their site sharing the same complaints but they have done NOTHING. Samsung will NOT patch the firmware of this monitor. And NO, you CANNOT flash the original firmware on the T1 Faker monitor. You used to be able to do this by renaming the file, and that was fine with firmware 1005.6, but Samsung has gone to great lengths to ensure that you can't do this with newer firmware. Something they did to the file literally prevents T1 Faker from even seeing it on disk.
