The latest firmware for this display is 1003.1, said to be the equivalent of 1009.3 on the original, but there is STRONG flickering when using G-Sync in 100+ fps games like Minecraft and any eSports game. The monitor is great so far. It's a bit more saturated than my ips panel, but other than that it's great! I thought I would hate the curve but when I switch back to my flat screen it seems really weird. Just make sure you have a flash drive and update the firmware when you get it. Apparently there were some flickering issues, but these appear to have been resolved.

This monitor has been pre-calibrated and the picture looks fantastic. 240Hz without blur. And it works fine with my Vega 56 (yes I know I need to update but nothing is available). I'm happy with it in HDR and SDR. Nothing needs to be configured out of the box. All of this is based on the T1 Faker Edition. Not sure why this is the best gaming monitor on various websites but compared to my ASUS PG279Q it didn't impress me. It had a dead pixel in the upper-left corner of the screen and the image quality - regardless of the settings - wasn't much of an improvement over my IPS panel. Just a great monitor. LG 1440p 140Hz monitor replaced. This monitor is much sharper and better suited for gaming. I immediately got better at playing COD Cold War and Valorant. I know a friend who bought the same monitor (he recommended it to me) and he loves it too. The 240Hz refresh rate is AMAZING! If you have an NVIDIA RTX 3000 or 2000 series GPU, you need to buy one.

I bought the 27 inch version of the Faker G7 about 2 weeks ago and have had terrible quality issues so far. On the second day, I noticed that the menu button (run button) became randomly unresponsive and wouldn't let me access any of the onscreen menus. The 27-inch 1440p screen has too much edge blur. Not sure I can crack it alongside my other two, older, much cheaper monitors. None of them are bleeding. I got it today and it washes my gears. Checkmark. Checkmark.

I love this monitor. I was embarrassed to take 1000r because of the corners. Now I feel flat screens just don't suit me (personal preference). I like to think that I play various FPS games Warzone, Apex, Pubg, Overwatch, Valorant and some others. There are no flickering problems. The display started failing 8 months after purchase. Pretty fast for a $650 monitor. Samsung used to be my favorite but their quality control is absolutely terrible and I will never buy their product again. I've been trying to fill out a warranty claim on their website for 48 hours and I'm unable to submit it due to server issues. Not to mention how buggy a monitor can be when it's working properly. I cannot recommend this monitor at all.

Amazing monitor I've ever had. The picture quality is beautiful. If you have a good gaming PC then this is perfect for you. ATTENTION TO THE BUYER! I had this monitor for almost a month and it suddenly stopped working for me. I couldn't turn the monitor back on and noticed that the monitor was very hot and there was a strong smell of burning coming from the back! I've never burned out a monitor. I don't know if I will ever touch Samsung monitors again. It could have been worse if it had caught fire. I sent the monitor back.

Not much to say, I've had it for about 8 months now and about 4 of them have had dead pixels. Luckily he's fine so I don't notice him too often, but when the field is dark, THERE IT IS! The monitor is smooth, the graphics are fantastic and everything else is worth it. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with a dead pixel in the long run.
