I am a gamer almost 61 years old. I bought a cheaper gaming laptop but my son pushed me to buy the best I could afford. I am very happy with this Rog laptop and it replaces the old Rog that I loved for about 5 years. My son needed an in-depth setup to run my favorite Skyrim and Fallout 4 games. The problem seems to be that they don't want to run at 300Hz. This is very strange as I can play Fallout New Vegas at 300Hz with no problem. So the graphics in Skyrim and Fallout 4 are the same quality as my old laptop, but the graphics in New Vegas are amazing. After some more tweaking, I can now play all my games without any issues. I love how light this new Asus is and the new cooling system, but I have to get used to the noisy fans. Today is only my 3rd day of ownership and I'm still getting used to the front position of the keyboard. My fingers keep hitting the wrong keys, but I think this keyboard will be better for my arthritic left shoulder when playing games for more than a few hours at a time. Another feature I really like is the ability to use a Type-C power adapter. I will order this very soon.
