It's almost what I expected

It's almost what I expected. It's plastic but doesn't look cheap or break easily. It fitted right onto my 1" handlebars but also included spacers/adapters for 7/8" handlebars. One of the included rubber pads fits my grip well enough. I would like to use a thicker one but it was too tight for it to work. Although the average size does the job. I would give 5 stars but it needed a bit of tweaking to make it work well. At first I couldn't tighten it enough to hold it and not let the throttle vibrate back down, and still be loose enough to let the throttle work freely when the lockout was not engaged. I ended up stretching the little spring a bit so it opens the retaining ring more when it's not snapped in place. It worked. I have it ok so the throttle stays on for miles with no issues but the throttle is still loose and works fine when not stuck. I can also manually adjust the throttle when it's "locked" to fine-tune my cruising speed or when I need to slow down quickly. (Why or why don't people see the bike before they ride? LOL) Overall I'm happy and would buy again. I think a slightly longer spring is required for best performance, but it only takes 15 seconds for one to stretch. Hence the 4 stars. ;) Well, let's give 4.5 stars. I can't, so I'll be nice and pull myself together. laugh out loud
