I had the same throttle lock on my 2001 Yamaha V-Star and just installed it on my 2004 Kawasaki Concours and it works fantastic! The scope of delivery includes adapters for 7/8" and 1" handlebars as well as other adapters for different grip sizes. My V-Star had custom FAT foam grips and didn't use a rubber insert/adapter, while my Concours had the standard skinny rubber grips and wanted the thickest insert. It's almost what I expected. It's plastic but doesn't look cheap or break easily. It fitted right onto my 1" handlebars but also included spacers/adapters for 7/8" handlebars. I love riding my 19 year old Kawasaki Vulcan 88 (1500cc V-Twin) through back roads, hills and woods in East Texas.
