The first one I got didn't work at all. Apparently it was defective. But the second works fine. The instruction manual is ridiculously small, I don't know why they do something like that. It makes it worse. However, I didn't have many problems with the setup. This is a bit annoying as there are many different remote controls available in the app. Unfortunately none of them work with my devices. So I had to go through the manual programming of each remote control. But once that was done, they worked flawlessly. Obviously my Toshiba air conditioner and my Frigidaire air conditioner were made by the same people because when I programmed the Frigidaire remote it worked at the same time as the Toshiba. Haven't decided yet if this is a bug or a feature. :-) Let's face it, this box doesn't fully turn your devices into smart devices. You will not receive any feedback from your devices. That will not do. All it does is take your physical remote control, put it on your phone or tablet and you can control it over the internet. For what it does, for the price, this is a great deal.
