These discs now emit an extremely TOXIC smell

These discs have ALWAYS been extremely reliable and have been repeated for many years. MAXELL recently changed the chemical composition of the discs and they smell very toxic. If you work in a small office or room, provide adequate ventilation. Otherwise, you'll get sick or feel sick, and pretty quickly. I hope they go back to their previous NON-TOXIC formulation, but I suspect this is the result of switching to a cheaper factory with an acceptable DEFECT rate (around 5-7% currently).
