I've tried several mirrors. The ones that look like this mirror but are much smaller and have LED lights like little dots around the mirror are so bright even when dimmed that I felt like a deer in the headlights and couldn't even get my face right could see make up me. I also bought a large Hollywood mirror which was great but looked too clunky in my French country style bathroom. I needed a Goldilocks mirror - not too small, but not too big either. I found it with this. Pros: Large mirror that helps diffuse light. Can tilt. You can rotate it to make it taller or wider (very cool feature and makes it more adaptable to move it to different places if needed). Tray - Easy to place tubes so they don't roll off the counter. 10X Mirror - Seems to be standard for lighted makeup mirrors, nice free bonus price - I bought mine at a 30% discount but would pay full retail price. that doesn't dazzle and doesn't shine in my eyes. Cons: Uses a regular outlet, not a USB port - this can also be a plus. It might be too light for some, but it's durable on a hard, flat surface.
