There are many reviews here saying it took 2-4 people to put the stairs up and it took ages. This can be done EASY with one person. It took me 10 minutes. Hold the yellow plastic part of the ladder (one at a time) and thread the black rope/tape through to desired position. super easy. For me especially, he measured each box to make sure they were the same. Inexpensive and easy!
